After letting the epoxy cure, it’s back to the lathe. The bolt is chucked up again the same way, except this time, the live-center goes in the firing pin bushing which protrudes from the bolt face (live-center never touches the crucial part of the bushing). Also, the stub arbors I make aren’t tapered, but rather I chuck up the bolt, indicate off the body, and then turn the arbor to match. This, along with the live-center in the firing pin bushing lets me get the bolt running correct and almost perfectly true. After which, my sleeves are turned, along with all my final cuts (front/rear of lugs and front tip of bolt body). Also, note I don’t take the sleeves all the way down, I’ll polish the last thousandth or two with sandpaper. The portions that protrude into the ejection port are turned to match the bolt body and then everything is polished. I’ll also cut some grooves in the rear sleeve to minimize contact/friction.
